About Paris Short Term Apartment Rentals
Pad-A-Terre is a Paris-based, British-run family business. We offer furnished Paris short term apartment rentals for those travellers amongst you who are either already passionate about Paris or are eager to really ‘discover’ the city.
Our mission statement is to offer short term apartment rentals in Paris that provide very comfortable and central accommodation that offers excellent value for money for both large and small groups against good 4-star hotels.
We go further than that and want you to ‘live’ Paris rather than be shunted around from one sight to another. To this end, through our tailor-made guides and on-site English-speaking guides, we provide you with reams of information on the best places to shop, the ‘in’ places to eat and the latest exhibitions and galleries to be visited. We steer you clear of what to avoid. So that you enjoy your experience of Paris with Pad-A-Terre, you of course need to feel relaxed and that we understand requires that you feel comfortable with the city. To this end with provide you with a host of practical tips. For a taster, please read the practical tips to provide directions to reach our apartment and to guide you throughout your vacation in Paris.
We are confident that our 20 years experience of Paris justifies our claim to being ‘au fait’ the ‘underbelly’ of the city. Paris is the most visited city in the world; it is an ‘easy’ city to visit – a whirlwind tour of the Louvre, shopping on the Champs Elysées, or for the more adventurous, why not a trip up the Eiffel Tower? All of these are of course wonderful and memorable experiences, but at Pad-A-Terre we firmly believe that Paris has more to offer and during your vacation apartment rental in Paris we would like to encourage you to experience that difference.
Renting over the internet is a daunting experience and you may well experience feelings of doubt that in our minds are perfectly justified. At the end of the day, it is important that you make a ‘considered’ decision and to this end we have made our service and site as transparent as possible. Our policy revolves around one of WYSIWYG (‘What You See Is What You Get’). We include photo albums, full descriptions of both apartments and areas (including floor plans, area maps and satellite, building photographs). Like that nobody is disappointed upon arrival. The large part of the time, guests are pleasantly surprised.
We look forward to welcoming you to Paris and helping you discover this magnificent city with Pad-A-Terre. We believe (and hope!) that that will be a memorable experience for both you and your family/friends. Contact us for reservations or general enquiry on vacation apartment rentals in Paris.

Dear James,
Just arrived back in LA from our wonderful vacation in Paris and wanted you to know how happy we were with the rental of the Archives Paris apartment. Jean Claude welcomed us warmly with flowers and the apartment was bright and warm. We loved it, the comfortable beds, all the space and the good showers, high speed ADSL. You were spot on about the location in Paris. We found everything at our fingertips and enjoyed a Cassoulet chez Camille. We all thank you for a wonderful Christmas vacation in Paris and look forward to using one of your Paris vacation rentals again.

Dear James,
Thank you for offering us a warm, quiet and relaxing apartment for our Paris holiday. We saw all the sites, ate and drank far too much. I never thought of holiday apartments in Paris as an alternative to a hotel but our friends (the Nicos from NY) were right in passing us your details. Cheers, David and Elaine
