Description: Paris Rental Apartments |
|
'Marais-Picasso' was fully renovated by a leading Parisian architect in August 2007. All works have been completed to the highest of standards to create what is very much a ‘luxury’ space that will sit at the top of the range in our properties portfolio. The kitchen has been fitted with top of the range appliance and walnut work surfaces, imported from the United States. Both of the bathrooms and kitchen have been decorated with tiles imported from Italy in elegant and natural colours. The apartment comprises 3-double bedrooms (2 King sizes/2 twins), 1 fully equipped bathroom with tub and stand-up shower, 1 Separate guest WC, 1 shower room with WC, drawing room/dining room (seats 6-8), fully- equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washer-drier etc. The apartment faces South and is bright. It is located on the 3rd floor of an elegant 19th Century Hausmannien building in the heart of the ‘Marais’ and is entered via an attractive (and also recently renovated) vestibule which also leads to a very attractive and peaceful private garden. There is an elevator which, as you may be aware, is somewhat of a rarity in Paris, let alone in this historical neighbourhood. The exact address of the apartment is 5, rue Froissart, 75003. The Place des Vosges, Picasso Museum and many other galleries and museums of interest are all within walking distance. As for restaurants and shops, you are simply spoilt for choice. It is within walking distance of a number of metro stations (3 blocks) and main bus routes pass nearby. That said, it’s central location means that the best way to get around is most certainly by foot. The closest metro stop is literally a block away. The parquet floors are magnificent (throughout) and unique. There are fitted and elegant wooden cabinets in all rooms, all cupboards, drawers and units for hanging clothes have been custom-made for the apartment. The windows of the apartment look onto no other apartment/building yet over the peaceful courtyard belonging to the apartment’s building. The sofa bed has been tailor-made for everyday use. That said, with 3 bedrooms, you are unlikely to need it.
Fully integrated air-conditioning units have been installed throughout the apartment. Again, recognising that this is somewhat of a rarity in Paris, we believe it is important for those months where your comfort may otherwise be compromised. The apartment is positioned as a high-end luxury product to sleep 6-8 people – very comfortably and the property has been furnished accordingly. Beds include 2 King-Size beds and one Queen which also separates into 2 singles.

In the historic quarter of the 'Marais', just across the river from Notre-Dame, life, art and culture pour out in a rich stream that splashes the streets with colour. Sip Jasmine Tea at the elegant 'Mariages Frères' where Parisian chic meets colonial ambience. Follow the ancient street signs engraved in stone. Explore medieval alleyways. Push open doors leading to romantic courtyards. Add a fairytale dusting of lavish "hotel particuliers" (private mansions) with gilded gates and graceful gardens and the Marais is the best of Paris distilled into a strong, seductive brew that will leave you thirsty for more.

Dear Mr Burgess,
Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed our vacation in your Paris apartment. We got some well-needed rest and fell in love with Paris. The apartment was comfortable and everything you described it as being. Thanks so much, we shall be in touch for an apartment for our next Paris vacation.

Mr Burgess,
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your Paris apartment. The apartment was centrally located; it was extremely easy to get around. We felt well looked after and will certainly think of Paris apartments rather than a hotel in the future.
