Description: Paris Apartment Rentals |
|
Our 'St Honoré' Paris vacation apartment is located on a tranquil stretch of Paris' well-known rue St Honoré, a few steps from Pont Neuf, the Seine and the Louvre Museum. An innovative Parisian architect/designer duo have worked to the highest standards of design to create an intimate luxurious space. Ceramics for the bathrooms and kitchen have been imported from Italy, oakwood work surfaces from the States. Bathrooms are Philippe Starck and curtain materials are hand-made by ‘Toiles de Mayenne’ in Paris. These are just some examples of the high standards that our guests can expect from this property. The ‘St Honoré’ Paris Vacation apartment sleeps up to 8 - comfortably. It comprises 3-double bedrooms (1 King size, 1 Queen, 2 singles/1 King-Size, 1 fully equipped bathroom with tub, stand-up shower and WC, 1 shower room with WC, drawing room/dining room (seats 6-8), fully- equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washer-drier etc. The apartment has air conditioning. The property faces South and is bright. It is located on the 3rd floor of a quintessentially Parisian 17th century ‘timbered’ building. Beamed ceilings and traditional oak parquet floors throughout provide a background of elegant Parisian charm for the more contemporary furniture and fittings. Walls are painted with natural tones, using paints from Belgium and England, made from natural pigments (Flament, Farrow & Ball). The elegant sofa bed has been tailor-made for everyday use. That said, given that there are 3 bedrooms, you are unlikely to need it.
Every last detail has been thought of. Beds are the most comfortable, bed and bath linens come from the prestigious 'White Company' in London, suppliers to leading British and Parisian hotels. There is a large plasma screen TV, DVD and a high-speed Wi-fi internet connection (free of charge during your stay).

In spite of its proximity to the Louvre, the Seine and Pont Neuf, this enclave of central Paris represents Paris life at its best. The ‘quartier’ is a neighbourhood in the true sense, a microcosm of the treasures that make Paris, well, Paris. Swamped with craft workshops, innovative galleries, ancient alleyways, modern Paris life blends into the remnants of a vivid past. Dotted with art galleries, authentic cafés, quality boulangeries, bistrots and art galleries, there's something to suit all tastes. The authentic Parisian charm is preserved as the path beaten more commonly by the tourist hoards takes them from the adjacent Louvre museum across Pont Neuf to the 6th arrondissement and St Germain.
The pedestrian Quartier Montorgueil is a short walk from the St Honoré Paris vacation apartment and embodies the essence of authentic Parisian life, commonly called the "new urban village" of Paris. One of the capital's most colourful market streets, it is home to some of its best restaurants, cafés and delicatessens. The adjacent Place des Victoires (designed by Place Vendome's Hardouin Mansart) forms an intimate circle around a statue of Louis XIV and is today dedicated to the designer names of fashion. Whether you decide to spend your Paris vacation in ‘St Honoré’ or another Paris vacation apartment, we look forward to making your Paris vacation a truly memorable one.

Mr Burgess,
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in your Paris apartment. The apartment was centrally located; it was extremely easy to get around. We felt well looked after and will certainly think of Paris apartments rather than a hotel in the future.

I wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful vacation in Paris and loved your apartment as much as we did the last time...well, even more in fact. Our 2-week vacation rental was perfect - we saw the finale of the Tour de France, Giverny, Le Petit Prince at the Comédie des Champs Elysées, Monet's watercolours at the Orangerie, Chartres and lots of shopping! As always, Paris was absolutely wonderful. Thank you once again James for letting us feel like Parisians for a couple of weeks! Hope all is well with you. I'am already dreaming of our next visit to our adopted city and one of your Paris holiday rentals!
