This duplex Paris rental apartment enjoys an ideal location in the heart of historical Paris. The penthouse of a 17th Century timbered Paris building, the apartment comprises a drawing room, dining area, 2bedrooms, bathroom with shower and tub, separate fully equipped kitchen. Arranged over three floors, This Paris Vacation apartment has the feel of a private house. It is very quiet,looking West onto a small interior courtyard and East onto a semi-pedestrian street. The beamed drawing room with itselegant18th Century mirror is elegantly furnished with antiques and modern soft furnishings. This apartment is one of our most popular short term apartments in Paris and has a charming Parisian feel to it.
From the entrance door, a staircase leads up to a small landing. To the right is a walk-in library/closet, to the left a corridor to the drawing room. Off this is the kitchen. A second staircase leads up to the galleried bedroom, the 2nd bedroom and bathroom. The apartment is bright. All floors have windows that give onto an internal courtyard. This is complemented by the bedroom's skylight which offers views of the neighbouring St. Eustache church.
The property is fitted with a top-of-the-range integrated air-conditioning system (installation June 2007).
A stone's throw from the Louvre and the Seine, you cannot beat the central location of this Paris apartment rental. The neighbouring pedestrian Quartier Montorgueil embodies the essence of authenticParisian life and has been called the "new urban village" of Paris. One of the capital's most colourful market streets, it is home to some of its best restaurants, cafes and food shops. The adjacent Place des Victoires (pictured), designed by Place Vendome's Hardouin Mansart forms an intimate circle around a statue of Louis XIV and is today dedicated to the designer names of fashion.

We want to let you know how much we enjoyed your Paris vacation apartment. The apartment was everything we hoped for from our Paris holiday. It was clean, very well appointed and in a great location. The beds and linens were excellent. The kids did their homework every night at the table and we used the internet to keep in touch with people back in Canada. There are wonderful shops around the apartment and we were especially taken with taken with the 'boulangerie' on rue Vieille du Temple where we bought extremely delicious pastries every morning to accompany a coffee from one of the many cafés on the way. Thank you so much for everything. We would not hesitate to recommend your services to our friends and hope to stay in one of your holiday apartments in Paris very soon.
