This elegant 60m2 apartment rental is well located near to the Opera Garnier, in the artistic enclave of 'La Nouvelle Athènes', once home to Delacroix, George Sand amongst others. The Goncourt brothers lived in the building and the calm of the area drew Renoir to set up studio next door. The apartment is bright with South and West-facing windows that overlook private gardens onto Chopin's former residence. An artistic feel and sense of calm survive to this day. All the more striking considering this is the heart of Paris. If what you are looking for in your Paris apartment rental is soothing elegance, then you cannot go wrong with 'Garnier' . Furnished to a high standard with antique furniture and modern soft furnishing, 'Garnier' very much feels like a home and is full of character. The period drawing room is decorated in the Louis XVI style with its 18th Century fireplace, antique mercury looking glass, original French 'secretaire' desk and antique ornaments that include an interesting 17th Century pharmacist's mortar! A rare Prussian chimney dominates the dining room (marble ornaments and antique porcelain) with its original Louis XVI dining table which offers a more formal alternative to eating in the kitchen.

Local restaurants are excellent and cater for all budgets and tastes. , For fresh produce, the well-known rue des Martyrs is one of the best markets in town.

Quería decirte que pasamos unas vacaciones maravillosas en París y nos encantó el apartamento tanto como la última vez… bueno, de hecho más. Nuestro alquiler de vacaciones de 2 semanas fue perfecto: vimos el final del Tour de Francia, Giverny, El Principito en la Comédie de los Campos Elíseos, las acuarelas de Monet en la Orangerie, Chartres… ¡e hicimos un montón de compras! Como siempre, París fue absolutamente deliciosa. James, gracias de nuevo por hacer que nos sintiésemos como parisinos durante un par de semanas. Esperamos que estés bien. Yo ya estoy soñando con la próxima visita a nuestra ciudad de adopción a uno de vuestros alquileres de vacaciones en París.

Estimado Sr. Burgess,
Me pasé semanas buscando apartamentos de vacaciones en París y estaba muy nerviosa pero me sentí muy satisfecha en el Cherche-Midi. Mi esposo Jacques (¡que es francés y parisino!) disfrutó de verdad la sensación de estar en casa de nuevo. Nos encantaron las flores y las viandas que dejó en la nevera, especialmente a los niños.
