Vacation Flats Paris and Rental Flats Paris from Pad-A-Terre
The Right Bank
At Pad-A-Terre, it is our mission to ensure that you have a unique experience of the city and our Paris vacation apartments are designed to that end. We want you to live Paris not as a tourist but to get off the beaten track. To that end, during your stay in Paris, we suggest that your organisation may be made easier by thinking of Paris in terms of different areas that are collections of shops, sites and restaurants. The Champs Elysées and Western Paris area has as its spine the well-known avenue of the same name. Though not adjacent to our vacation flat Paris, the street is interesting as it is lined with shops concept stores, it also includes fashion's glam thoroughfares, avenue Montaigne and rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré. Montmartre and Pigalle has, at its northern end, picturesque Montmartre with its iconic Sacré-Coeur and to the south, Pigalle, known for the Moulin Rouge, sleazy strip clubs and less than celubrious bars. Perhaps not the best areas for rental flats Paris but great to visit! Opéra/Les Halles covers much of Paris's shopping heartland as well as the Louvre, the Palais Garnier (ballet/opera) and the Musée de l'Orangerie. A number of our Paris rental flats are located here. The area abounds with history. A walk around the gardens of the Palais-Royal attest to that. Northeastern Paris is bisected by the charming Canal St-Martin - a hip, up-and-coming area full of cafés and fashion boutiques. Further East is the Parc des Buttes Chaumont, with its grottoes and its romantic bridge. Bastille and Eastern Paris is barfly territory, especially along rue Oberkampf and rue Jean-Pierre Timbaud. The latter are good places to relax in when venturing one of our rental flats.
The Marais has so much to offer that it warrants its own category. This is for us one of the preferred areas for the rental of flats in Paris. For many, this pre-revolutionary quarter represents Paris life at its best. Swamped with craft workshops, innovative galleries, ancient alleyways and lavish town mansions, modern Paris life blends into the remnants of a vivid past. Dotted with art galleries, authentic cafés, bistrots and art galleries, there's something to suit all tastes. Indeed many of our vacation flat Paris our located here. We offer completely renovated, beautiful Marais apartment rentals in Paris furnished with modern and elegant quality designer furnishings.
